Privacy Policy

1. Overview
At ErgoDeskLab (https://ergodesklab.org), we respect your privacy. This page explains what basic data is logged when you visit our site and how we protect your rights.
2. Data We Collect
Because our site is static, we do not run user accounts or store buyer profiles. Data only comes from two basic sources:
- Emails You Send Us: If you email us or use our contact form, we see your name, your email address, and your message so we can reply to you.
- Basic Server Logs: Like most websites hosted on Cloudflare Pages, web servers log basic visit data. This includes your IP address, browser type, time of visit, and the page you viewed. We use these logs only to keep the site fast, fix broken links, and block spam bots.
3. Cookies and Store Links
ErgoDeskLab does not set tracking cookies on its own. However, outside services may use cookies when you click a store link:
- Amazon Referral Cookies: When you click a link to Amazon.com, Amazon sets a short 24-hour cookie in your browser. This lets Amazon know you came from our site so we can earn a small commission if you buy an item.
- Browser Controls: You can block or clear cookies at any time in your web browser settings.
4. Outside Privacy Policies
Our privacy rules only cover ErgoDeskLab. When you leave our site or visit a store like Amazon.com, their own privacy rules apply. You can read the hosting privacy notice here:
- Amazon.com: Please check the "Privacy Notice" link at the bottom of any Amazon.com page for details on how Amazon handles orders and cookies.

5. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you live in California, state law gives you the right to:
- Ask what personal data a business has collected about you.
- Ask a business to delete any personal data it holds about you.
- Tell a business not to sell your personal data.
We never sell personal data to anyone. If you want to ask about or delete an email you sent us, just reach out on our contact page.
6. Your European Data Rights (GDPR)
Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK have the right to:
- Access: Ask for a copy of any personal data you shared with us.
- Fix: Ask us to fix any wrong details.
- Delete: Ask us to erase your emails from our inbox.
- Limit Use: Ask us to stop using your data.
7. Children's Privacy
Keeping kids safe online matters to us. ErgoDeskLab does not knowingly collect any personal info from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal info, please contact us right away and we will delete it.
